Draft Horses : A black Percheron draft horse team, photographed at a threshing bee.  One draft horse was older, the other just a beginner.  I admired the owner's of these horses, they took the team right up to the steam engine and told the steam engine driver to blow  his whistle and let loose with some steam.  They said the young horse needed to get used to things like that, and they didn't believe in babying them.  I wish I'd been there at that time to get photos of his reactions, I guess it was wild.  But he did behave pretty well, and the rest of the day, he was very calm for a young horse, when the steam engine whistled, or let off steam.  It was wonderful to ride behind this beautiful draft horse team.
